On Saturday, 28th October 2006, three members from the Stanwick Handbell Ringers conducted a Workshop at Christ the King Church, Kettering.

This was the second Workshop held at the Church, with nine enthusiastic participants. By the end of the session, they had all progressed well, from simple change ringing through to hymns and popular tunes and ended by playing a few Christmas Carols.

Although October may seem rather early to be playing Christmas Carols, it was explained that the Stanwick Handbell Ringers had already blown the dust off their Christmas music, which was now being included in their weekly practice sessions.
