Sunday, 24th June 2007

On the evening of Sunday, 24th June 2007, the Stanwick Handbell Ringers gave a performance at St. Andrew's Church, Great Cransley, as part of their Flower and Craft Festival.

Also performing during the evening were the Kettering Camerata who gave a very impressive performance, which we all very much enjoyed. (We hope they enjoyed our performance as much as we enjoyed theirs!)

We are very grateful to Lydia Byland, who so kindly took a photograph of us, after the performance, but before we started tucking into the strawberries and cream and the glasses of wine that were on offer!

We were certainly made to feel very welcome at Great Cransley, and hope we may be invited back in the future.

A couple of our members were lucky enough to win a prize in the raffle, and several of us got rather carried away with the auction of the flowers at the end.

(Suffice it to say that we returned to Stanwick with more than the handbells on board!)
