On Monday, 23rd July 2007, the Stanwick Handbell Ringers were delighted to be asked to give a very special performance at Park House, Wellingborough, to help celebrate the 100th birthday of Edith Nutt.

Edith is no stranger to the group as, 5 years ago, they helped her celebrate her 95th birthday at a party at the St. John Ambulance rooms, Raunds.

Edith was born in Raunds in 1907, and lived in Stanwick for a time after her marriage to her late husband Peter.

Friends and family sang along enthusiastically to the music of the bells, and the evening was very much enjoyed by the audience and ringers alike.
