On Sunday, 10th December 2006, the Stanwick Handbell Ringers attended the Christingle Service at St. Laurence Church, Stanwick, in aid of The Children’s Society. This is always a very popular Service, and this one was no exception, with the Church being filled to capacity.
Carols and Christmas music was played before and after the Service, and once the Christingles had been lit, and the lights had been turned off, the handbell ringers accompanied the singing of 'Away in a Manger', in the glow of the candlelight.
Two of our members were rather busy, as they were not only playing the handbells, but also singing in the choir!
